I just purchased a pair of the EV sub poles that screw into the top of my ETX-18SPs. I sit my EV 15s on top. I've noticed that during events the tops will spin, I assume from the vibration. Any suggestions on how to fix this? TIA!

There used to be a cup that you could get with the Bose 802s that mounted to the pole and held them in place and prevented spinning. I don't know what it was called or where you could buy one but if you can they work

Use (or make) an appropriately sized rubber gasket/washer on the screw fitting and tighten it jsut enough that the vibrations are dissipated in the gasket and not by motion of the cabinet.

Also, bring shims with you and make sure you speakers are level. When they are not, the upper cabinet will present a peristant torque which vibration can easily turn into a rotation.

Thanks. The threads on where the pole mounts to the sub. The rotation is the top sitting above where it just slides down the pole.

That's more challenging.

You could create a pole clamp that attaches to the pole and creates a spanner/shelf bracket that keeps the speaker at the exact angle you want. Once you tighten the clamp there's no way the speaker angle can change.

You often see this type of spanner on wall mount speaker brackets. It provides a small section of angle-iron at the lower rear corner of the cabinet. You can see one on the slide rail of the image below:
