Just got back from a local bar. I walked in and the music was blasting really loud. It was so loud it was hard to take at first. I settled in and had a beer while I scoped things out. Of course I had to make my way through the crowd up to near where the band was. There was an EV Eliminator over an Eliminator sub on each side. The bass was thumping hard.
On the break I went and talked to the band's leader and he told me all the sound was coming from just the two mains and the two subs. Then I looked at the amp rack and all I could tell was that there was an EV Q66 amp. There may have been another amp but I didn't want to get too close or seem too nosy. They were all using wired Sennheiser e835 microphones, no vocal effects according to the band's leader. That EV equipment rocked the house!
