You probably don't actually need the laptop while performing, but you do need to ANALYZE the files beforehand in the laptop software (i.e. Rekordbox).Hey guys i just bought a pioneer xdj rx2, it has usb pluggs but when i try it without a laptop the sync does not work, is there a table that can sync withhout recordbox or virtual dj? Just going by the user name this may be an ESL thing and not a reflection on the poster's intelligence or lack of.The "Dude" has been mixing for 26 years. He made no comments on his grammatical skills, reading comprehension (look at the thread from beginning), or writing. That's the problem with this country - they'll let practically anybody drive a car or purchase a $1700 DJ controller.
You may certainly be correct, and if so, I apologize to DJ peenie wallie. He also would not be familiar with my warped sense of humor.Just going by the user name this may be an ESL thing and not a reflection on the poster's intelligence or lack of.
