@steve sharp apparently a typical teenager thats uses limewire.....

This is where once again I strongly encourage anyone joining an online forum for professional advice should properly disclose (or cleverly disguise) their identity. A cute screen name and/or first name isn't going to cut it with most. This isn't "Dear Abbey" or the Halo forum. We have had our resources wasted time and again on actual P2P teenagers who have no idea about or respect towards this industry. More times than not our speculations and gut instincts have proven to be right.

It's wrong for us to assume about and haze the newbies, but history can harden people. I would bet the farm that a fully disclosed, articulate request by any new poster would be received very differently.

This is something of a life lesson I suppose.

So James, I hope that you have a thick enough skin to hang in there and push through the pseudo initiation phase. If you're serious about learning the business, it will be to your benefit.

Welcome to ODJT.

He's got it, James.
If your original post introduced yourself, gave details on you as a person (name, age, hometown, etc) and explained your level of experience and your situation...
you would have been better received, not sterotyped, and would have probably gotten the advice you were looking for.
(and a better attempt at NON TEXTING style punctuation and grammar doesn't hurt)

yeah...you would have still gotten snide comments and insults...
but we all got the same "initiation" at first...
that's what makes this place so fun (if you don't take it too seriously)
