Ever get any resistance from venue owners/managers?
I would imagine there are places that refuse to let you use them?
(no matter how much you explain the safety features or the insurance)

Yes I do... more so in remote areas that have never experienced this effect, and are used to djs that show up with just sound or maybe lights on a tripod stand (essentially nothing more than midtier). In the major “wedding” venues, which I usually play at, there’s never much of an issue.

I was talking to someone last night about this...in 2019 and 2020 I would have used the sparklers nearly 50 times. I suspect I’ve only had an issue no more than 5x in those two years... so I guess my numbers could’ve been 55, but as you can see it’s not making a major dent in my ability to offer this service

I just remember the "fallout" when venue owners started banning fog machines
because they set off the fire alarms.

Well this doesn’t do that... but some think that it does due to their inexperience w the effect. Many think that the sparklers are hot and can light things on fire.,, but they’re not. They come out at a temperature of 50 degrees

i don’t see much of the powder on the dancefloor other than in the very immediate area of where the sparklers are, and usually that’s far enough from where the main dancing is happening. I never saw it as an issue. Have u seen people slip or something as a result?
As far as my equipment goes... canned air. I have one with me and blow the dust off after I shoot em if the sparklers are near me.

No one have slipped yet but It there is a risk. Canned air sounds good. I'm also thinking about battery operated vacuum.

WOW! That looks absolutely amazing! I wish I had brought the Showven Sparkulars myself. Instead I brought cheaper versions. Looks the same however I had an unfortunate experience where one of my units caught fire during my Daughters 9th Birthday party :(

Luckily I saw it in time, disconnected it and removed it quickly from the building. I would only recommend the Sparkular units as I know people who use them and they have so many advanced safety features on then that the cheaper ones don't. I am thinking about replacing them with the Sparkulars, I am very wary now though but the pictures and video of them and the reaction on guests faces is just priceless.

These have caused some fires in the UK & have been recalled by a couple of companies i believe now..
