CDMIX giving a Humming noise everytime I connect the Mic Cable

This is a new one, I've had a CDMIX I used for ceremonies, yesterday while setting up for a wedding today (2 rooms) I connect my speakers all great, as soon as I connect the Mic Cables I get the worst humming noise.
I think the CDMIX just went wacko on me, I had it ever since 2002 anyways.

Anyone experienced something similar to this?

I have to take my Denon Mixer today and set it up with one CD Player, should be enough anyways for Dinner and Intros and Speeches.

hmm it sounds like either the female connector needs to be cleaned or defurred. Contact cleaner might help or needs to be replaced. Im no electrician but yeah it sounds like that or perhaps your mic cable is the issue. Change XLRs and try it.

I did my friend, funny thing is that is both mic inputs doing the same thing.
