This couple paid with check for their booking fee. If they want to pay w/credit card fine, if not, fine also. I don't require it. I would lose business that way.
I would call her again today for the last time. If you don't hear from her or have the deposit by Saturday, Sunday, make the call, letting her know the date is now back open as stated in the terms of the contract. I am sure you will either get a call then or not hear back from here because she has booked someone else (another possibility)
1. A $200 non-refundable booking fee is due with the returned signed contract. The fee is deducted from the set fee for the event. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event (see due date on page 1). If payment is not received by due date, we reserve the right to request cash, cashiers check, money order or credit card as payment for balance. If payment is not received, we reserve the right to not perform and balance in full will still be due.
As stated from my lawyer that originally went to take me to court I knew the guy from school and he set me on the right path (even did his wedding as a freebie for him doing my forms)PAYMENT: In default of non-payment the Client agrees to pay all costs incurred in the recovery, Plus interest at the rate of FOURTEEN (14%) percent flat per fortnight or part there-of in Book Keeping Fees and Legal Costs....
