Agreed - but most of us probably have easily thousands of tracks. Even 6,000 on random play would last for a looooooooooooooooooooong time.

Considering you can realistically only listen to about 20 songs an hour, which means 50-60 songs during commute, do you really need all of it?
I'm a tad OCD, so yes, I really like having it all with me. I never know what I may feel like hearing...a Beatles album, this morning it was The Lionel Ritchie album "Tuskeegee".
I am my own Spotify...most times I have it on random for all tracks....never know what's next...that's cool to me.
Oh... Yeh, I think I listened to that before... long time ago. Don't listen to NPR anymore. Glad that show is still running, though.[emoji4]

Same here, my current "dj" headphones cost something like $15
The Koss headphones I used in the radio studio were $80.00. Always kept them in a padded bag AND took them home. Radio jocks are fond of using other's headphones. Mike can testify to that.
The Sennheisers I use for my tablet and phone music listening on the patio were $35.00 - all well worth it.
