Bose classics vs the 1s model

Does anyone have any experience with both models. I used to own the L1 classics and for some unknown reason sold them. Very sorry I did. I want to replace but now only the model 1s is available or high priced used classics. Wondering if I'd be disappointed with the 1S model after owning the classics.

I don'.t have any first hand knowledge about the 1s, but my guess will be yes. There are 12 less speakers in the 1s.

the model 2's are the way to go, IMO. Yes, they are more money, but they are more than worth it.
