Best-Worst Band Names

Another local band "Flock of Tooters" which after a few years became the "Groove Daddies.":sqwink:
 
We had a band that wanted to play at Fear Fair once called Shotgun Enema!
 
just thought of the Beau Brummels

the only reason they chose the name
was so their LP's and 45's would be filed right next to the Beatles.

it was a smart AND a dumb idea, all at the same time!

OK - Here's a good/bad one

Punk band from over here (of course) called Smegma and the Cheesey Bits - no kidding - Google it ;)

Slaughter and the Dogs too - they supported the wonderful Buzzcocks when i worked with them in 1977

The Buzzcocks are brillo
 
'Eddy Current and The Ultrasonics' would be good also. (Engineering types will understand)

Haha, just came across this old thread. I was in a band of that name back in the 80's! (Some of us worked in NDI {ie. "Engineering types will understand"!})

Not music related, but saw an "As Seen On TV" brand of hair removal system for women called "Lassie Legs" which reminds me of furry dog legs....
 
"Steely Dan", not to be confused with "Big Dan". Then again ????

and what about those "Fine Young Cannibals" ?
 
A couple years back I did this College dance at Bellingham Harbor in Washington. They had a Ska band who was very entertaining and their name was Lapdances With Betty
 
I've always liked the name Echo and the Bunnymen. A local band from San Francisco that my sister toured with is called Voice Farm.
