What a truly entertaining and original way to "come down the aisle." Very well done, I give those kiddos an A+.

That was f!@king priceless. I'm only glad Tom wasn't here to witness that. You think Adam was put off, oh my God.

If church was that much fun every Sunday I'd be back in a heart beat. I go to church about once a year and I still know the routine by heart. Same boring thing for 49 years now. Must have been from my altar boy days.:sqlaugh:

Adam, if you are put off by that pure genius of an entrance and wouldn't be caught as part of something like that, don't worry someone else will and gladly.

I think I might take in Sunday Brunch at the House of Blues Orlando when I'm there in August. Praise be the Lord. Heather be thy name.:sqwink:

I didn't say I hated it!! I love the fact they were very enthusiastic! They bridal party was absolutely amazing and showed some great enthusiasm. It was cute how the bride and groom walked up with those last few steps. Yes..this was completely awesome beyond awesome!

The only issue that strikes me...is a grand intro for the actual wedding. That's all! I may be wrong, and unpopular for my opinions...but ah well! I never was part of it...so I guess...what does it really matter? :sqlaugh:

Crap!!! I wrote that..and I am now thinking darn it...if my opinion didn't matter...why did I respond? :sqlaugh:

It was memorable for the couple..the people at the wedding loved it...I guess thats where it really matters.

I just wanted to show that in some churches this is quite acceptable and apparently it was ok to give this celebration performance. I would be a part of it in a minute. Do you work any Catholic events? Their ceremonies involve rituals I am not a part of but I would provide the music just the same.

I'm allergic to catholics!!

I would gladly provide music for different religions. I would choose to not make it a ruckus and circus like.

Believe me, I've been to many church events at big auditoriums and such, and praising God, cheering for God, singing praises, all but your typical church service, and it was awesome! I've been to conventions in Canada, Minnesota, and North Dakota, and these events are absolutely great. I love the way people can come together and praise God in an exciting way.

Again, only the grand intro thing at the church was a little wild. Kudo's to them for doing it....I just got thinking a bit on this.....

If I was in a wedding, and the bride and groom asked me to do this....wow....:sqerr:

If I think of it this way....as my friends, I'd have to honor their wishes and do this for them! :sqeek: Maybe this is something I need to really think about, and figure out why the entrance at the church bothered me so much? :sqcool:

Here comes a Minnesota OOFDA! :sqwink: Weird to put it in context this way.

Edumacation in the way Humans do things even next door. Adam I was attempting to allow you to expand your mind not take your belief from you.

I think it's great to actually look at an argument..or an opinion from all different views. That's the best way to make sure that an opinion is how you really feel.

I am not straying from the idea and opinion that I didn't like the whole church introduction. Because I am not an advocate or a fan of this idea.

But as mentioned my other response...if I was in a bridal party in which they wanted me to participate..I certainly would say yes! I find this almost contradictory and very odd on my part.

Holy schmackers is that odd!!

Jon..thanks for that great chat in the chat room! I'm glad we were able to discuss views and opinions in a very civil and friendly manner!

Jon actually pointed some things out to me...that made sense. I can officially say, my opinion has been shifted a little, and now after thinking about it a lot more in thought....I'd do it!

I have played songs from people and have supported other people who have done some nasty things in their life and such.

Why would I think this is any different.

Jon and I discussed things like playing for a gay marriage and such, and this kinda persuaded me further. While I may not be an advocate of gay rights, I would dj an event if I was hired.

Put this all into the grand scheme of life, and it will easily persuade my opinion to be more open on something like this!

Jon..for real..thank you again for that great conversation!

I didn't say I hated it!!
And I didn't say you hated it either. Read my post a bit closer. What I said was:
Adam, if you are put off by that pure genius of an entrance and wouldn't be caught as part of something like that, don't worry someone else will and gladly.
That is your opinion and you have a right to it. It's neither wrong nor correct, it's just your opinion. But, if something like this bothers you then you are in the minority. If this is something you choose not to be a part of if it every crosses your path, as you can see many others will.

BOY AM I GOING TO GET BLASTED BY MANY OF YOU FOR THIS POST

This is one of the most ireverent things [I have ever seen.
Look about the church. Yeah CHURCH. House of worship! Hello----
A look about the church reveals it is a Christian Church.

In a Christian Church the only entity of attention and worship is Jesus Christ.
The whole purpose of a Church is to be a special place in which to worship God - not put on a stage performance.

A wedding ceremony in a Church is done so that the couple makes their vows in the sight of and with the blessings of God. And their invitees are witness to a sacred trust being entered into by the couple, in the sight of God.

This wedding entrance is a mockery of having the ceremony performed in a Church.

I am sorry, but we are losing sight of things.

The place for that exciting, well rehearsed, and well planned entrance was at The Reception Hall, or at a non-denominational civil ceremony.

Definitely not appropriate in a Church

Sorry, but that's my opinion -- and I'm sticking to it!

We dont even know what religion, if it is a real church or just an onsite ceremony facility.

FIRST thing I thought of, too...since my, cousin is a Catholic priest. If you notice, the officiant is a woman, and she is not wearing any particular religious robe or garb. I'm sure if it was a "true" church, and they had an issue with it, they would have never let them do it! Think about how particular they can be with photographers!

I personally think it's wonderful, and truly something the GUESTS will remember for a long time!

Dude, wish I was a guest at that one. That was so awesome. Me personally I don't care what house of worship it was in (it was definitely some sort of christian church)...they made sure that nobody would ever forget their wedding. Maybe even more important, they made their wedding theirs.
