With the passing of Brad Delp from Boston I just can’t help to think, who do we regret NOT seeing in concert when we had the chance. The person that is on the top of my list is Stevie Wonder. I took my 12 year old daughter to see Carlos Santana and when Stevie Wonder comes to town I’ll take her too.

Who do you want to see in concert before it’s to late????

If they would make it on tour a would agree Van Halen with DLR.

like that's gonna happen........

if they do by the end of this year, I'm gonna buy everyone on this board tickets

Ill keep that in mind....Will you fly me there too?

Ive seen the Stones I think if I could see AC/DC and Steve Earle one more time I would be happy

Mabye Madonna.....

Chuck Berry was at Dover Downs for a couple of shows back in '03. Tickets sold out in less than an hour. I am still kicking myself for missing that one. :(

The mention of George Thorogood is interesting. Before George hit the big time he was working at a roadside produce stand in Claymont, DE. The original name for his band was the Delaware Destroyers.

As I understand, they played for years in local venues during the summer months when the tourists invaded the beach towns. :)

He was still using the name Delaware Destroyers when he was here in the early 90s

Marvin Gaye
James Brown
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Janis Joplin

Oh wait a minute I may already be too late!

There are way too many to name them all, but a couple right off the bat are:

Elton John (I had the tickets in my hand, but didn't go...)
April Wine (I was at the concert on the floor right up at the firewall, but I passed out before they came on stage...)

Fred, I saw Chuck Berry and Little Richard in 2003, and Chuck had no business being on stage. His set was horrible. Little Richard, though, was an OUTSTANDING showman and was very entertaining! Great music, too.

Traffic & Trapeze

Had tickets in hand and was unable to attend. :sqfrown: :sqfrown:

Van Halen with DLR, as Eddie is walking a tightrope with ever playing a concert again, and with how goofy DLR is...

George Thoroughgood (sp?) would be great....

AC/DC

KISS

Stevie Wonder

Smokey Robinson

The ones I missed, and am really bummed about it...

SRV, Alice In Chains, Boston, Robert Palmer.....

Too bad Al is doing his concert at Chastain. That place really sucks for concerts because it's an amphitheater and most people just go there to talk...loudly.

Ticket prices & sale dates for the MN State Fair should be announced sometime in April or May... The Grandstand was just rebuilt 3-4 years ago (I think) and it's really nice for shows. I saw Motley Crue there a couple years ago - very nice outdoor venue.

If anyone wants to see Al Green there, PM me. I'll post ticket prices & on-sale dates.

Van Halen with DLR

Trust me, anyone who wants to see this, dont. Roth is wwwayyy past his prime, can barely move around the stage and watching him try to do some of his signature moves it painful.

I saw him when he and Sammy were on tour together, and thankful Sammy went first, because I left after only 2 Roth songs.
