My small system is a Behringer Xenyx mixer 2 NX55P, NX 200P sub, 2 Chauvet Mushrooms, and a Dell netbook.
Man for smaller events like a ceremony in an adjacent room that's exactly what I did!!!
Like I said, I do use mine too but for REALLY small events like announcements in a small - mid size room. However the ZX's can seriously kick some tail!
No doubt my friend has some of those. I am thinking of getting some cheaper Gemini or American Audio active 8" speakers for a ceremony.
My "typical" system is, which is what gets used at most weddings:
1 L1 model 2, T1 mixer/soundcard
senheisser ew100g2 wireless mic
2 B1's
laptop
My "basic", which gets used at smaller parties:
L1 compact
mic
laptop
Not even worth bringing the cart for that.
