Alright folks...

I haven't really posted too many gig logs and such..So i'm going to give it a whirl

Show was for the annual St.Patty's day parade in New (Dublin) Wi
Waterfront Bar & Grill is gracious enough to hire me year after year..Love that place!

Set-up is (2) P.A.S. FT1.2 Tops (Bi-Amped)
And (4) P.A.S. CB-2 Subwoofers (Dual 18's)

Processing is P.A.S.

Amps are QSC
RMX 850 on Hi's
PLX 3402 on Mids
(2) PLXII 3602's on Subs

Used VDJ with signal split to (4) Flat screens for video feed.

I would post a song list but it would be huge as i was playing for 11 hours..:sqwink:
Set up is a bit odd, As space is at an absolute PREMIUM..

Some random shots from the day...

I kept (2) subs and other amp rack in back room till after parade was done..
Floorspace is important.

Shot of downtown filling up with people before parade.

After parade, We had some bag pipers and drum corp members stop by for a beer or 3...The people always talk them into playing..

Here the bar...Full to capacity with thirsty people!

I like your logo on the TV; plain, simple and easy to read!!

How far apart where the speakers in that crowd?

I hoped they paid you well for 11 hours?

How far apart where the speakers in that crowd? I'd say about 15 feet apart.

Yes..I do get compensated very well..

I see a few problems with your set up! LOL

Your speakers are firing directly into solid objects!

Your setup is stacked on a pool table which has to make it uncomfortable to operate!

People are way to close to your setup (which would tend to make me extremely uncomfortable)!

Yes...The speakers weren't firing into solid objects..Just appears that way.. (The "waterfront" object is a light for the pool table)

And i agree with you on the whole pool table...(But some Drunk guy pissed on the dance floor last year, So i wasn't taking any chances!)

And like i said...Floor space is at a Premium here..So people being close is a given...But there respectful...No problems as of yet.

http://newdublin.com/ Gives ya a little more of an idea as to what goes on..

No excuses for you! Practice what you preach. ;)

I make no excuses...This is an exercise in "Making It Work" And i do exactly that! It sounds just fine in there.

Paying customers are the name of the game...And i had the place at capacity
till 1:30a.m. when the bathrooms gave up...We had to shut down an hour early
with an overstuffed bar :sqmad:

I have had to work off a pool table before fortunately it was not against the wall so I was able to use it as a table and work from behind a couple different occasions. We are best challenged and show our true skill in making the situation work to the maximum. Good Show Shortstop.

yea, you do whatever it takes to make it work, whether it looks or even sounds right or not! There is a bar in the area here where they built a table that fits on top of the pool table, with cleats that slip into the "bed". This is the drum riser for the band.

The funny thing about the whole pool table thing is that i CHOSE to work on top of it. (Not my brightest moment) but after having a drunk guy empty his bladder on the dance floor the year before, I didn't mind being up there by myself...

what kind a ladder did ya need to get up there lol sorry pal. Did you stand on top when playing

OOPS I guess ya did lol just looked at it again.

I figured if I had Kenny Rogers the Gambler in the back ground and a smiley posted I could let loose once. Sorry Brian I will go to my room.

I would have thought a Mod would have come up with something better than that...:sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

You guys are held on your own pedestal you know....

I used a bar stool to assist my height challenged ass in getting up there..(If you must know) :sqlaugh::sqlaugh:

I felt that I could get away with it since my fat arse would have likely exceeded the table capacity and actually have less of an opinion of ya for not coming up with that patented slap back.

Sometimes being human even if I am a rare breed allows one to have an off day or 1000.
