SemiRetired DJ

DJ Extraordinaire
OCD = Oppressive Compulsive Disorder

It can range from what faced Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets to a sort of perfectionist approach.

I am at a mild stage. The money in my wallet has to be all facing the same direction and ranked from low to high. But, that, to me is being practical. That way I can pull out what I need easily.

When I do a hall set up at the lodge the tables have to be on the same tile line across the floor. But, when you look at it they are grouped neatly and lined up straight.

With DJing it just made me ready for potential problems.

I went the smartarse answer, but in all reality, I'm a little OCD in my normal life. Now when it comes to DJing (especially how the rig looks) I can sometimes be called Mr. OCD.

Am I gonna get in trouble if I answer this one? :rolleyes:

Can we answer it for you ? :triwink:

Ok, checked the fridge, I'm low on beer but I lined them up nicely.

I'm beyond OCD -- I'm anal about certain things xf:D

My empty beers get repacked in the original containers, with all labels properly aligned. My bills are all properly aligned, and in ranked order. All the food in my cabinets are label aligned. Even the discs in my CD cases are label aligned.

BTW, I don't consider it a disorder -- I call it being neat and practical :)

how do you arrange your woman, neat or practical

Wow! Both Tom and Rick do the same things I do (bills in wallet, table and labels aligned).

I've only recently discovered I'm a little OCD (OK I was told I was!).

But I'm fine with it. It's the way I am and being organized makes me feel good.

I think any performer who wants to pull of a good show, needs to be a little OCD.
