Any tips on what should stated be in contracts and how to go about a sale would be greatly appreciated!
My advise is consult with a Business Attorney as it relates to YOUR business model.Any tips on what should stated be in contracts and how to go about a sale would be greatly appreciated!
See Post #3I was thinking of having a Reservation Agreement for booking the event and paying deposit along with contract. Is that overdoing it?
The single biggest piece of advice I could give is "Make it easy for them to do business with you." Don't fall into the habit of forcing them to do everything the way you've always done it. Taking payments over the web and allowing a contract to be signed electronically has been the single biggest improvement I've made in closing the sale.
The next best advice is to learn how to get them talking about what THEY want, then make a clear, concise pitch on how YOU can make that happen, then ask for the sale. You'd be amazed at how many people spin their long, boring stories about how great they are and yet, they never get around to asking for the sale. Learn the timing and the look in the eyes or the inflection of their voice when you know they're hooked, then CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE. It's ridiculous how many people talk them into a sale, don't shutup at the right time, then manage to talk themselves right back out of the sale.
My first advice would be to check your grammer. Next like it has been said to ask an attorney for advice where you live. As diffirent things may apply for your area vs someone elses.Any tips on what should stated be in contracts and how to go about a sale would be greatly appreciated!
