I'm with USDJ, call me old school, but TOA is just a cheap ass background and public address product manufacturer. They have no place in the Production world.

These speakers are toys. Please, save your money and buy something decent from a brand that makes product for the production market.

You are a bit more direct than I, however perhaps these may fit the buyer's needs for the $$$ spent. If so, all is good. If not...a lesson learned. I've found that I am best served long-term if I stretch my budget a bit. The pro sound guys like yourself know what works, as do I. Lessons hard-learned over the years. Long-term return on investment for me has been huge. I've got JBL product some would call "vintage" that I will put up to damn near anything soundwise....of course I'm far craftier as I age.....no substitute for field experience!

These days the young ones want three things in a system; Less, Light and Cheap. To me all three are major compromises to good sound. I too use a lot of Vintage and it kicks a lot of the new stuff's azz. EV Tweeter Banks, EV Radial Horns and JBL Scoops. Three way passive tri amped system which most DJs have never used and probably never will use.
