Did you think about there's a reason theirs are $500.00. That would have me thinking red flags everywhere. I would be to scared to take the risk to save $500.00. That's just for me.

And then you chaps want to blame your President for jobs going overseas?Regardless of the price of the fixture, don't you charge enough extra to get a healthy ROI on a lighting package?
Really Canute...Corporate America sent those jobs overseas long ago.. How do you think the dollar store sells those cables so cheap?
I don't have a Chauvet unit to compare them to, but they're pretty bright! I have taken them apart to upgrade the heatsink (it's the smaller one that the Q-spot was released with, you can get the new larger one from Chauvet for 15$/ea) and it's definitely the same 60w LED light source that the 260 uses.
Yeah, the warranty is probably meaningless. If I used these commercially I'd probably have gone with Chauvet.
I'm keeping this vendor on file, though, they got the units to me in about two weeks and seem legit. Knock on chinese wood.
