Ambient Music

I recommend that you get iTunes and use the iTunes radio...there is a category on there for ambient music. Listen to that for awhile and you'll get some ideas for starters. If you find that there's a really good song or artist that will be appropriate, go to pandora.com and start a channel for that song or artist. You never know what you're going to find. :)
 
Isn't that the show that uses a lot of classic rock tracks in its soundtrack??? If so perhaps follow suit...

Of course what is their definition of ambient music???

A convention? As in fans?

In that case you may want to play music from eerie shows/movies. Not so much the the themes, but the filler tracks on soundtracks and such.
 
Check out the sound track to "Dark Shadows". I own it because I loved the soap and movies as a kid. It's a pretty eerie soundtrack and ambient for Supernatural.
 
Can someone please define "Ambient music" for me? I am totally unaware of this genre!

I know what "Ambient sound" is, just don't know the concept of "ambient music"
 
Mood music, sound effects, horror suspense music, sci-fi sounding music. that kind of thing im sure
 
Enya has released several albums that may fit the bill. Give it a listen and see what you think.
 
I purchased a cd a few years ago at the Victoria's Secret Store. I was just in there looking, I wasn't trying anything on. It's got good music that fits the style of the store. It has some of the same style music you're looking for.
