Have your clients, or potential clients, ever been concerned with which brand(s) of equipment you use? Please reply YES or NO. If your answer is YES, then please disclose as many details as you are willing to share.

Only 1 has ever asked and as it turned out she had been to a wedding where the sound system left a little to desire in appearance even though it sounded fine. So I assured her that my Bose system would not only look elegant it would also "Rawk the House". She booked me on the spot!

Nope. The closest we have come to this was a caller who asked if we owned professional sound equipment. I smiled and said "We do indeed. Ma'am, you've done your research. That's good."

Yes but no sorry not this time

just at the shops a few hours ago and booked a wedding by overhearing about not seeing the venue and I told them the best action
the bride asked me what I did and told them - they took my card and have already had the bride call before I even got home at 9pm

so thats a new one for me over all these years :)

Yes. On several occasions--probably 2-3 times a year. Generally because they were over-promised and under-delivered in the past and they are concerned that our 'sales pitch' is honest.

Many of our new clients come to us because they are tired of the DJ that isn't properly prepared, and where not all of the equipment works.

No, but I have been hired because I had Bose and they liked that. So, while I have never been asked what equipment I used, I have been hired because of the equipment I have. I'm talking about DJ services only.

Thanks a lot, you guys. Now I have to get out a new slab of granite and chisel all these words in the proper dimensions.
