Advertising in the weekly church bulletin?

If I was the kind to take offense, I would take offense to that. But I am not the overly sensitive type.

I think the technical term is "non-profit organization" although the money that passes through can be as much as with a small business.

The overarching part of this is the perceived "good will" that people will get from you. Your business is supporting the church. That's always good.
How about this for the ad:

Mike - don't get me wrong....I'm a Christian; I talk to God all the time. I was raised Roman Catholic....
Look at that church specifically...look at the hierarchy in the Vatican. Tell me that's not a "for profit" business.
To be close to God and Jesus....one doesn't need a million dollar building....or organized religion...
You just need to reach out.....
I am with you on some of it. My current church meets in an elementary school. Although I do believe in organized religion (the church was established for a reason), I also believe some of the organization is useless and ultimately harmful.
Catholicism is a different beast all together. Although some Protestant churches look upon it as a business, and even talk about it in business terms, I think that is where things go horribly wrong.
