Certainly I could do this 100% myself, and easily, but I am curious as to what you would play.

BTW, I plan on possibly playing the entire Symphonic Pink Floyd CD, as the guy whose party it is LOVES Pink Floyd.

I'm hoping that maybe someone comes up with something cool that I would have missed.

Many CR bands did sessions with orchestras. So, check for those. There is also an acoustic ambient Beatles songs disc out there. Of course, there's almost every MTV Unplugged session.

Here's a few more:

These Are The Days Of Our Lives - Queen
Lady - Little River Band
Ain't Even Done With the Night - John Mellencamp
All Of My Love - Led Zepplin
Best Of My Love - Eagles
These Are The Times - Van Morrison
Lay Down Sally - Eric Clapton
Let's Get Together - Youngbloods
Love Is Alive - Gary Wright
Rosalinda's Eyes - Billy Joel
Saturday In The Park - Chicago
So Into You - Atlanta Rhythm Section
With A Little Luck - Paul McCartney
You've Really Got A Hold On Me - Zombies

check the one hit wonders of the 70's
I have a few CD's of nothing but non-ass-kicking 70's songs
and the "oh my gosh" reactions to some of them are priceless

Me and Julio
It's Magic
Magnet and Steel
I Wish
Old Days
Stuck in the Middle With You
Still the One
You Make Me Feel Like Dancin
etc

okay, they're not "ROCK"
but they're great for dinner
