I use Amazon Prime -- costs like 80 bucks per year, and I get free 2 day shipping, get to watch movies and TV for free.

Does Apple sell food? Amazon does. I buy most of my food from them. But it doesn't come with nice Chinese packaging.

But buying music on Amazon costs basically the same as on iTunes. This wasn't a grocery card .. it's a music/media card and many folks pick up stragglers on iTunes even if they have pool accounts.

Rick, you don't have to buy one.

Nada -- I stay away from Apple at all costs. I watch what their software does, and they can read your passwords, your docs, basically anything.

If you choose to live your life to under some corporations control -- go for it.

Mines pretty simple in all actuality -- I just check it to make sure nobody is giving out reg codes to their friends.

Yeah, it does have the capability to do other stuff -- but I see no reason to jump down that slippery slide. I don't want anyone's info. I don't get anybodies phone number, or any of that crap -- don't want it.

If a customer calls me -- they talk to me.

Yes, I do -- but I don't use it. It's a moral thing I guess. I really have no desire to know what's on anybodies computers. So I don't use the other features.

I just want to know when people are sharing their downloads and codes -- that's how I pay my bills. If one person shares the links and codes to 50 others -- I'm going after their asses.

You guys go out and and buy $5,000 speakers, but you don't want to pay a 100 for software. WTF.

I have made it clear, that I will never divulge costumer information. Even the IRS or NSA can't get my info.

I don't work the way that they do -- privacy is important to me.

Ricky, I totally agree here. My point is that from an 'access' point, theoretically there's no difference between you and MS and Apple, etc.

I think there is --I don't use it, unless absolutely necessary.

I don't use cookies ( unless I buy them at Halleems Mini Mart and IED Lab).

I don't often run my server -- but if I start seeing multiple instances of the same codes -- I'll take a looky see.

Sorta, kind of maybe. It's not intrusive. I don't gather any info other than the user name and reg codes for my software,

I'm also making another change -- no more two computers, you will need to purchase two licenses. I got hammered on that one.

You mentioned previously you also collected info on libraries .. number of songs if I recall.
