30 day Google Analytics Report

Greets all. I don't know how many of you employ Google analytics to track visitors to your websites, but I find it a great tool, if for nothing else but for information sake. But then again, being the numbers kind of guy I am, I would find it interesting. At any rate, what follows are screen shot attachments from that 30 day report.

They are pretty much self explanatory.

Thanks for reading.

are these tools free ?

Yes, it's free. Google does not charge for this service.

On a related note, I decided just on a whim, to do a search for "wedding dj in winston salem", which is where I live and operate.

The attached screen shot is what I was happily greeted with. If you remember in a previous discussion thread, Wavy Davy was explaining the benefits of Google Places. If you will, notice the yellow highlight tag for the business in the attached picture. This is what Google Places will do for your business. And if you are the only business in your given market using the service (like I am), you are guaranteed by Google, to show up in the #1 position on page one of the search. This is "especially" important and helpful, if your business doesn't show up in the organic results on page one.

Even if you aren't the only service in your market using this enhanced Google service, it will help move you to page one if you aren't already there.

Regards -

Greg

Nah........I like this view better. ;)

And I look forward to the weather being that warm again! This winter stuff is killing me! You have to understand, my house is on a hill, and that my driveway is concrete, and freezes in no time when the weather gets nasty. So I have to make a trip to Lowes to buy driveway salt whenever we get any kind of freezing precipitation. So far this winter, I've put down over 400 lbs. of driveway salt due to the enormous amount of snow and ice days we've had here. And since I live outside the city limits, everyone that lives on my street has to rely on the good graces of private contractors to come by and scrape the road when it snows.

Speaking of which, this is what my driveway looks like (from my kitchen window) when I DON'T get the salt put down in time BEFORE it snows:

I still use the free one supplied by my Hosting provider

tells me more than google does without having to add any extra code on the webpages

I use this one >>> http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/
has all the info and more than Google Analytics

+1, I use google analytics on a daily basis to track progress across the sites. Most of them have hit maturity, but we just launched a new site. I am monitoring the traffic increases daily (since a new post is scheduled daily).

Also I thought I should add to thread by mentioning Webmaster Tools. This is another Google freebie that helps with website performance. It is great for improving link juice for 301 redirects.

I like to look at mine too. I have it set up to email me a report once a month but I also login from time-to-time to check them out. Here are the last 30 days for my DJ business.
