George Jones, without a doubt. The only male vocalist to come close to Jones was Frank Sinatra.

I went with Hank but it was close pick with Cash in the mix.

Now if you wanna see a hell of a show, go see Hank III. He starts off playing music that sounds like his grandad but closes with something thats more like Pantera.

Hard to understand how you missed Alan Jackson, George Strait (WITH 59 #1 SONGS), and Garth Brooks. All those other singers are great too.
