Those are designed for air shipment (ATA=Air Transport Association of America). I know they'll do the job, but they tend to be far better built than it would seem necessary for other than road tours.

Ricky ma-boy... A buddy of mine here in Vancouver deejays 90% of his weddings with a single pair of K10's; I kid you not. He occasionally brings out four to accommodate larger venues. By the way, I hope you got the bags for them since they are supposed to scratch very easily. Congrats on your purchase!
If you run them in mono, it will sound find that way and make for a very compact set-up. Only problem is the 'yahoos' that will look and comment...
