On Saturday the electricity went out at the venue. DJ system and computer lose power. When I started the computer up it said there was a CPU change and to hit F1 to continue or Delete to go to setup. So I hit F1 to continue and it started up fine. I restarted and the same thing happened. I hit Delete to go to setup and go through Bios and save the settings without changing anything. I run some programs and Media Center and it ran fine.

Since last night for some reason now when I close Media Center all of a sudden colored lines show up and it freezes. Anyone have any idea of what's going on and what to do?

Arnoldos voice GET A MAC!!!! J/K
I have no idea what's going on. I've had several blackouts (Mexico City is notorious for losing power during thunderstorms) and haven't had any issue (knock on wood) I'll let the experts handle this ;)

Try doing a System Restore. Set the restore date to Friday.

Not sure. Maybe your video driver got screwed up. My laptop has Media Center. I've had a few issues in the past and doing system restore seems to clear it up.

Just go Start/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.

It just sets your computer back an earlier date. It takes about 10 minutes or so.

As for the processor thing, there is something called a CMOS Checksum, anytime something seems outta wack (for some reason or another) it may report incorrect. To correct the issue just go into the BIOS, typically F1 or Del key. Then exit saving changes, don't make changes to the BIOS though. What will happen is it will automatically re-write the CMOS Checksum and the error will go away :)

Thanks. I already did that. Now having problems with Media Center when I close out of it. I will try and do system restore tonight before my gig.
