This is what I'm dealing with

Mix has at least made attempts to right the ship in regards to some early transgressions, so I'm willing to give a pass on what is water under the bridge at this time (not condoning it). We're professionals here, everyone has grabbed a file from someone else in a pinch or took it off of YouTube (not that I'm equating it to a hard drive full of music). Yes, we'd like to see everyone on a music subscription plan .. yes we think everyone should carry liability insurance .. yes all income should be claimed on your taxes.

However, Let he (or she) who is without sin cast the first stone.

Looks like I better make a 2nd batch...might be a put-down drag out tussle goin' on in here...

Ricky, to be fair, please paste here Mix's example(s) of the transgression you mention.

No. It was on Sid's board (djchat), several years ago. He bragged about how he paid some guy $20 to "show me where the stuff is". I have no need to prove anything to you or anyone else but neither do I have any obligation to forget that he admitted it.

I'm going to explain this for the last time and I'm done! Stop sprouting crap that you think happened. Get the facts first. You know the old saying when they say you assume. You make an --- out of you and me. Fill in the blank.

Here it goes. I never paid a friend to show me where some gear was at. This friend told me about some gear that he thought I could use because of me being a DJ. The stuff was things that this family that was moving didn't want any more. We checked with them and they said it was OK. So we loaded up the items into the van I had at the time. I did pay my friend $20.00 for helping me load up the van with the stuff and then take it to my partners house and help unload it. That's what happened. Nothing was stolen!

As it turns out it was a very expensive home theater system that they didn't want. I thought we could do something with it but we really couldn't. The speakers were just to bulky to even think how we would use them at a gig. Finally I let the other partner take the speakers to see what he could do with them. Probably the best thing in the bunch was an amp. Not sure of the brand name. All I remember is it was very heavy. Heavy like my QSC 2450. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Again this is the last time I'm explaining this. If you don't believe me then so be it. Now get a life and move on!
