Syracuse-born rapper Post Malone breaks The Beatles' 54-year record
Syracuse-born rapper Post Malone has broken a record held by The Beatles for more than half a century.
Billboard reports the "Congratulations" hitmaker has nine songs in the top 20 simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, shattering the previous record of six held by The Beatles since 1964. Rapper J. Cole tied the legendary rock band's six songs mark last week with his latest album, "KOD," but the record is now solely Malone's after belonging to Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr for 54 years.
