What's funny is that I started DJing in 1980 (43 years)...and I carried vinyl records around for 25 years... Probably before most of today's mobile DJ's were even born! And I never once relied on Hip Hop music to keep me in business! Ever!

I still have my old Windows XP computer tucked away in the back closet...which was the computer I was using when I purchased VisiTrax. I'm gonna dig it out this afternoon and see if it will still run the whole version and let me add the CD's to the database! I'm also hoping that the VisiTrax...

This probably won't be a problem for the OP as he most likely will only get one or two kit lenses, which will AF on the D3000 or D5000, The D3000 with both VR kit lenses (18-55 and 55-200) can be purchased for around $650 US. One other DSLR to look at would be the Olympus E-600 two lens...

There are several good HD camcorders down in the $500 price range now. Sony has several as do other manufacturers. They are, of course, consumer models, but still very nice and HD.
