So I had some down time before the holiday party was to start that I deejayed earlier tonight. I decided to make a quick video. I decided to to a quick signal range test of this Mic system. It cost me $80 like maybe 2 years ago if that.

Here is a link to the mics on Ebay which had a price drop...Now cost $69.00

...By the way...Load in and load out at M & T Bank Stadium (Ravens stadium) is soooo long. SO MUCH WALKING. Loading dock was practically on other side od stadium from the Lounge room my event was in. ...I would have got everything in and out in 1 load IF I didn't realize they needed a battery powered speaker for speeches. ...They had me on totally the other side of the room from the guests for dinner. Luckily, I keep my ADJ 8GO BT speaker in the Traverse for situations like this, so I went back down to bring that up along with my mic stand. I'm really glad I packed those things...Just good intuition...Never know when it's needed.

I love that I can Pile everything on my Rock N Roller Cart and get it all in 1 trip....Even with my extra light bag (Pocket Spot lights), and the Sub that I had on this one.

They may function .. but how do they sound near the speakers at that distance?

I don't know how you do it??? On my Rock n Roller cart, I had my two EVOX 8's, controller case, monitor case, light stand case (with two stands and microphone stand inside), ADJ Dotz T-par case, and director's chair bag. That's as much as I can put on it and still fit it through the minivan door, and even then, it's only an inch or two from the ceiling. Then I have my rolling rack and table, and then my dolly with my gig bag, light bag for my Colorbanks and Mini Kintas, and tool bag. That's three trips minimum. This last gig was better because I did not have the two speaker bags for my top speakers and the EVOX 8's were smaller than my Alto subs. It actually cut my trips by one. I don't know how I could do it in less, but it would be GREAT if I could cut it down to two.

Not sure. Well I put EVERYTHING into bags. Bags take up less space than cases. That could be why.

Everything I had on my cart:

Alto TS212S Sub
2 Alto TS212
Large Duffle Bag with Audio Cables, Extension Cords, Head Phones, Surge Protector (About 50 lbs)
Medium Duffle Bag with XLR Cords, Laptop Stands, 2nd Surge Protector, Velcro Straps
Large Duffle Bag with Basic Light Show inside
Par F4 Accucase Bag with 2 Inno Pocket Spots
Large Duffle Bag with Numark Mixer
Grundorf Table Topper Facade Bag
On Stage Stands Speaker Stands Bag
Laptop Bag

...I think that was it. 2nd trip, I went and got ADJ 8go BT speaker, and mic stand, and my suit bag

I left my folding stool I usually bring in my car since I knew I had about an hour of down time due to presentations, I just sat down during that time. Also left my 6 foot table in the car as well since they already had the table set up where they wanted me to be.

Apparently, since it's a large venue, and each room at the stadium is large like this, they place the DJs on the other side of the guests unless they have a real big party, and to have a large dance floor on that one side. I don't like it personally, but it's good for crowds who want to mingle and chat at the bar...They are so far away, that Loud Music isn't a problem, and they can carry a conversation better.

You must be an incredibly talented packer.[emoji1] I don't know how you get all that gear in a car??? I had extra room in my minivan for the first time, and all that was left inside during the gig was my backup speaker (JBL EON 515XT) and two TX-8 monitors. I could have put my small rack system in there, but I was living dangerously and had no backup controller for this gig.[emoji4]

I have a Traverse. Everything fits in back with 2d seat still up except my Rock N Roller, and the ADJ 8 Speaker. The cart lays flat on the seat, and the speaker on the side. ...My Laptops I keep up front, but COULD get them into the back if I really pack them in.

I use to do this with my Chevy Cobalt SS 2 door stick. ...Now that was really packed in! Prior to buying the Alto TS110A and TSUB, I never used a sub while having the car. I miss driving the car, but certainly don't miss doing DJ gigs with it

Even with a Traverse... We had a Mazda CX-9, which I think is roughly the same size or even a little larger. I could not get all my gear in it. It was my backup vehicle, but I knew I could not take as much gear as I can in my minivan. I keep everything strapped on my Rock n Roller cart and just roll it into the side door of the minivan. We now have an Outback, so even less will fit in than I could fit in the Mazda. It's still my backup vehicle, but I hope I never need to use it. I drive a Jeep Wrangler, so that would never work![emoji1]

5x8 trailer for most gigs everything stays loaded on two rock n roller r12s drop the ramp door roll in set up play load the carts roll out put strap them in the trailer shut the door lock it drive home and park til next gig, the fewer times I have to load and unload gear the more efficient it is

I have been looking at getting a 4X8. We typically rent a 4X8 from UHaul for gigs, but I had to get a 5X8 once because the 4X8 had a lighting issue. We have a Jeep Commander and the top of the trailer was a little higher then the Jeep and the drag was noticeably different.

I run a low profile 5x8 for smaller shows it was no additional cost when I ordered it to have it built 6 inches shorter I also have a v nose and ramp door

Just keep in mind, that as things expand, you may gather or obtain newer and bigger stuff. It's generally cheaper to add the room now vs to buy and then have to rebuy something bigger later.
