    I am finally doing my first wedding under my new business name, Enchanted Sound. Getting really excited, even though this isn't my first ever gig.

    Would you use a Subwoofer at this wedding reception?

    The venue I am playing at tomorrow has it in the wedding contract "no sub woofers allowed". As much as I disagree with their reasoning, I have no choice but to go along with it. I do agree that subs, if used properly, give a richer, more rounded sound.

    I think I might stick with my current setup for now, maybe I will over reacted when the videographer had his issues. My may wedding will allow me to try again.

    Based on this information, maybe my audio Technica wireless mic is fine, and could just use a wind screen. My handheld is an xlr mic, with an xvive wireless adapter, which I've had zero issues with.

    The speakers sounded ok (aside from wind noise), but his recording was bad.

    He was using RCA to 3.5 plug to a recorder, with a 2 ft cable.

    I use a Behringer 1202FX mixer for my ceremony setup, and he was using the cd/tape out for his sound. Unfortunately, I purchased my mic used, and am unsure what type it is.

    Neither have I, but I like to take pride in how my system sounds, including the mics. I did have an issue at a wedding, before covid, where the videographer used my equipment for sound, and the output sounded extremely tinny, which is why I'm looking to replace it with a better one.

    So nice my last post, I have started using Enchanted Sound DJ, and have two weddings lined up so far this year. Signed a contract for one on January 3rd, and will be signing a second for an august wedding. Good start to the year.

    I found a used Shure t4v, with a t1 transmitter for $110. According to Shure information, it still meets regulations. Would this be worth it?

    I am aware that $200 is low for a quality system, but it must be better than a $80 used audio teknica unit I currently have.

    I am looking at replacing my audio Technica lapel mic, and am looking for suggestions for a setup in the range of $100-$200.
