Below is a rough timeline as the day went on and we battled mother nature. It was a VERY stressful day and i have another HUGE gig on saturday, my largest show yet. Pics are below but please pardon it, I had to take pics with the speakers bagged. The crowd was impressive- 1076 students.

7:00 AM- cloudy but sun peeking through a lot, i roll up to school
7:15 AM- it pours on me
7:30 AM- we get my gear out of the truck into the school
9:15 AM- i decide its just gonna be cloudy now so we go ahead with it outside
9:30 AM- i got the bright idea to borrow 3 tents from Culinary Arts
10:00AM all is going great
10:15AM- hell breaks loose and rain comes from all directions- i bag the speakers
10:30- speakers unbagged
11:00- speakers soaked
11:05- speakers re-bagged
11:45, the rain is gone for sure and the WIND becomes nuts
12:00- wind lifts the tents up, one crashed into a car the other flew over the school into the football stadium
12:45- i give up all hope
1:00- NOTHING BUT SUN, blue skies and a beautiful gig ahead
1:20- gig starts, going perfect like nothing else cept the wind caught all of the confetti when i shot it and it blew behind me but still looked insanely awesome
1:30- power goes out, blown breaker
1:35- runing again
1:35-2:00- power goes out 3 more times finally i cut the gx-250s and made it through the gig with the peaks on the eons and mackies lit constantly

I recieved 17 compliments about how i saved the day by not cancelling with the rain, how i handled the power issues and my professionalism.

And people wonder why I don't play outdoor gigs...

But congratulations on being a trooper! Good job.

I use Contractor bags made by Husky. Theyre extra large and 6 mil. thick and cover a sub, speaker or rack easily without ripping.

Theyre trash bags but not designed for household trash, but construction debris like sheetrock, wood with nails and the likes. But sure theyre trashbags.

Man... you took a serious beating on that show. I'm happy to hear that it worked out for you.

Ya didn't ask for advice so I won't offer any. ;)
