I am changing clubs! I didn't know, but for the past couple of weeks, I've been watched by another club in the area and they offer me a position with them.

Funny, for the past couple of months, I've been saying, "someday someone from another club will come in and hear me spin and offer me a job." Little did I know!!

Wish me luck, I have to give notice to the owner of the club where I'm at now, tomorrow. It's NOT going to be pretty!! He hates the club I will be going to.

I'll be making more money and I know he won't match their nightly rate and besides, since this club opened June 1st of this year, our business has just about died off completely!!

Tonight I only had 4 people in all night!! Very difficult to play to no one.

OH! The club I'm going to is HUNTERS. There's one in Chicago, Palm Springs and they're going to open another one in Ft Lauderdale. Very nice clubs and they spare no expense in the equipment!!

This is true, but the atmosphere is FANTASTIC!! I spent last saturday in the club, just hangin out in the booth and everyone that came in, was there to have FUN!! Also, it wasn't just Gay, there were a lot of Straight people there too! Everyone was there just to have a good time.

I left at 1 am, because I wanted to beat the crowd out and there was still a line of people waiting to get in!!

This is going to be so much fun!! I can hardly wait!!

Now the hard part......giving notice where I work :sqconfused:

Talk about drama!! (Inside joke....the club I am leaving is called TD's...stands for Tinker's Damn....the joke?? We all refer to it as "Total Drama" :sqerr:)

Oh well, I put in 5 1/2 years there, it's just time to move on.

The owner doesn't like hip hop, that's fine with me, I prefer not to go any slower than 124 BPM's! I love House, Dance, Hi-nrg!! Keeps the party hoppin'!

I do like hip hop, I just don't like spinning it after doing it for 3 years at a previous club....makes my night go too slow. With Hi-nrg dance, my nights fly by!!

I agree. I love spinning house myself. In about a month I will restock the collection with some serious beats. I can't wait to get deep into the house scene again. As a mobile jock I spend a lot of time playing mainstream stuff, I get to enjoy the craft of house only in my personal time in the basement. I will put together a little set in October and would love to send it to you to get an opinion. Let me know if that is ok..Thanks.
