This was a tent wedding; looks like they got a spankin' new one. Did the ceremony and cocktail in a separate tent; the moved into the main tent for the dinner dance.

Hot and humid (for here)

Had power issues.....one 30 amp circuit...ended up doing the grand introductions with no mic....(I have a big mouth)...Finally discovered that the big halogen lights in the roof of the tent were the culprit...once those were unplugged ...no issues.

Food was possibly the best I've had..

lots of compliments on the cocktail music; 10% tip at the end of the night. Bride and Groom were very happy.

Client lives in Zurich Switzerland.....(that's a first for me)..everything done via email. Met them 4 days before to finalize....

The 4th "fun" wedding...I'm on a roll...

I'm not a real jazz officionado.....The Bride and groom wanted all jazz for cocktail and more 50's 60's through dinner. There's a lot of Ella and Nat...Man though...great music......True artists....

Sorry to be so late, but, nice work, Steve! Just noticed the Donovan song "There Is A Mountain". What a great tune!

As an aside, after many years of trying, we finally saw Donovan last year in concert. It was a truly whimsical and somewhat mystical experience! Our entire family loves him!

Your cocktail hour is a format that is very popular around these parts. Love your progression, too. I can pretty much see where the party switched from the "sitting and eating" to the "mingling, drinking, and when are we gonna crank up mode".

eddie - works great here...Old folks seem to groove on it as well.....great transition song.
