As of last Saturday we are allowed 100 inside and 150 outside both with the usual precautions. Hopefully this is a good sign

All but one of my weddings has been pushed out to 2022 and I expect that last one is just a matter of time.
We're at 40% capacity, no dancing or singing allowed. In other words: F** your culture - it's about socio-political conformity not science.

I don't think weddings are going to be a reliable business in the U.S. in the coming decade. The present culture war and rejection of hetero-normalcy is going to make traditional marriage and religious practice untenable in this cancel culture climate. Our historically "normal" wedding receptions are going to be targets of attack by the same lawless progressive thugs knocking down elderly on the sidewalks and surrounding restaurant patrons at outside dining.

As government continues to redefine "family" away from the nuclear standard and hetero- normalcy even the legal and fiscal incentives to marriage will fall by the wayside. Marriage is already at an all-time historical low. .

Have the Baptists taken over??:pillworried::monlaugh:

The boss of the multi op (who spent several weeks in the hospital with Covid)
has one scheduled for March.
He asked me to help out, since he is still on oxygen,
and doesn't expect to be 100% by then.

Of course, there's still no word from the bride or the venue on whether it will even happen....
or whether it will SO scaled down that he won't even need me.

I have a JUNE 12th wedding that was booked just a month ago. They waited to get a DJ. Well not even 2 weeks after the agreement was signed, the bride emailed us saying they are now considering pushing back their event to June 11th of NEXT YEAR. I have not heard the final decision on this. However, she said it is because they want all 120 of their guests to be at their wedding. Right now, the most they can have is 82. This wedding is going to be a cool ceremony. It is inside of Luray Caverns which is a 1 mile WALK into the caverns to where the ceremony site is! At the moment I am not needed for the ceremony, just doing reception in lodge on the property, but that could change.

...My brother also had both of his April Weddings Cancel. They were postponements from last year. The couples both decided to cancel everything, and just elope.

I do not have any weddings until first weekend in May at the moment. So about 85 or so more days of it being DEAD until my year starts for the DJ business...assuming that wedding is not postponed again.
