I was up in Totowa, NJ 2 days ago at Simorama Sound was told of a grat deal Denon is doing with the DN MC 6000. They are selling it for $599.00. I paid $600.00 even for mine. Now Denon is offering a $100.00 rebate on this controller which is a steal of a deal for this great controller. So that will bring the price down to $499.00. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mix .. they're closing out units at Guitar Center for $299.

If I can get one for $299 or even $300 I'm in!

I see it now which tells me they are looking to discontinue that model. That's usually what happens. That's very sad if that is the case. That is a great controller and very well built to last a super long time.

I do have one issue with mine sometimes and that is the master volume has stopped working sometimes and then other times it works just fine. Once it wouldn't come on and that was because the plug in the back wasn't all the way in. LOL.

mix, your controller is just a few days old and the master volume doesn't work?

Hey fellas, I bought one of these dudes today. My local GC had a demo unit on the shelf, but no power supply. I don't see any broken knobs or sliders and everything seems tight and like new. Went by radio shack and picked up a 2.5a power supply for $35 and threw in a $30 gig bag from GC. In all, $250 for what I hope turns out to be a good mixer. Thanks for the bump, mix.

You'll love it. Too bad it's being discontinued as a new model is coming out. Which obviously why they are not making any more. I love mine as it's light and compact. I keep mine in a case that has a laptop stand built into the case. This unit has a lot of great features.

Mix, where did you see that it's being discontinued? And what's the new model?
I was told by the guy in Totowa, NJ at Sin O Rama Sound it is being discontinued. Normally when you see such a major price drop that means they have a new model coming out and the old model will be discontinued as they have made enough profit off of the old model and just want to get rid of their remaining stock. I'm just curious what will be the difference between the old and new model. Also the price for the new model. Usually the price will be more then the old model. They will just add a few more features which jacks the price up. I just hope the new model isn't too big and works as well as the old model.
