I see there are so many to choose from and don't know what to look for. I was given a suggestion to get one instead of using the Hand truck I have now to transport our gear. I see a lot of choices out there and different prices. What is a really good one that will support both the 2 powered subs I have and powered tops? Also not be a big pain to get it moving.

From what I have heard,
I would suggest that you get the all terrain BIG wheels on the front and back.

The Gruvgear would be my first choice as it is bigger than the RnR, more versatile, can do everything the RnR does and more including the pivoting feature.

Wow! At $329.00, that Muver should be better than a R&R cart!

But those wheels would have trouble going over grass.

For less than $200.00, I'll stick with my R&R cart. Mine is 20 years old and other than having the front wheels replaced, it is still going strong! Plus it has 4 big tires.

Those wheels would navigate over Grass much better as each end can be tilted off the ground. The Premium Model RnR Cart is not that much less in price.

Question for those of you that have used both: Which or neither would hold up well if two 18" subs and two 15" tops were left loaded on the cart and strapped down inside a trailer? I am considering purchasing one or the other, but this info would go a long way toward helping me decide.

Yeah, I know what the capacities are, but that really doesn't tell me how they hold up in the real world. It also doesn't address how they would handle vibration and the continuous jarring that they would see loaded in the back of a trailer, thus the request from those that have used both.

Item for item I would still choose the Muver so I would expect it would hold up better on all counts. I prefer not to use a trailer to transport my Gear unless necessary. I have a dedicated Van that I use for business.

I have both, they stay loaded in the trailer I would guess they both have 400 - 500 pounds on them, the rocking rollers off road tires tend to get flat spots in them when they stay loaded, I will be replacing it wit another muver 6 ion the very near future, I can tell you that upgrade to the all trac tires on the rock-n-roller was expensive and not worth the money.

If it was me I would not leave Equipment on ANY cart with wheels as it can compromise the tires as stated above. Wheels are designed to roll with weight not sit stationary with weight on them.

Thanks Tunes.....That's the kind of feedback I was hoping to get.

Funny, I could show you a million examples where carts, cars, racks, planes, trailers, etc. are designed to sit with weight on the wheels. It all depends on the type of wheel and the construction of the understructure. That is why I asked for the real world feedback on these two pieces of equipment.

I was referring to these Carts in question.

I have left carts loaded and strapped in trailers for many years now, I have never had an issue, In fact I have a rig that only get used once a year that's in its own trailer, it's a large older outdoor system, all of that gear stays on the same carts, year round except for the 4 days per year it is actually in use, never had a problem.

That muver looks pretty sweet. I'd probably be tempted to buy it if I needed one. But my rock n roller had been working great for 7 years now
