I am not a fan of Powered speakers but I really like the design and specs on this one. It is scaleable and expandable. Add extra boxes as needed. I have always been a fan of the Horizontal boxes versus the Vertical Boxes (They are two conspicuous and almost all look the same).

Lots of Touring Grade Technology are integrated in this system and best suited to those who do Medium to large Gigs. 200+ people.

Sometimes used on Tours:

We covered the Paraline previously. Nice boxes and I'm sure they're very competent, but you're looking at $4K, $6K and $8K .. per side .. based on the images above. That might make sense for those that do live sound or corporate events, but then you run into issues of cross-renting and stocking, since they aren't as popular as say the QSC or JBL lines if you need one in a pinch.

And i know of no National act that takes Yorkville out on tour... Whats the point of boxes like that if your just going to put them on poles like that??

Mortgage your house just to say "LOOK at me!! I have a tiny LINE ARRAY" When my old school PAID FOR boxes will stomp a mud hole in them for 1/64 the cost

And those really arent a Line Array either

To be fair, the QSC K-array and the JBL VRX are similarly priced and advertised similarly as well. They seem to do well in the corporate gigs .. but they have the advantage of popularity.

I am not a fan of those either... Sound like a couple of tin cans on sticks. Overpriced crap
