LED gobo projector

I'm a fan of data projectors for gobos but noticed that cheaplights is now offering a 20-watt version that uses transparency paper. Still not sure how you'd overcome the density problem on transparencies but a 20-watt might actually be enough for a decent gobo. Anybody tried this or something similar with good results? If nothing else, it might make a good cake pinspot. At $129, it's a bargain.

It says it uses 35-mm film.
Is that the same as transparency paper?

Not sure the Cheaplights unit would be bright enough. 20w LED is similar to a 100w A bulb, about 1200-1300 lumens. The 75w Chauvet above would be pretty bright at 3.5x the light output (plus the changeable colors would be nice. It is 4x as expensive though ($500).

For 5-bills, I'll go with a data projector. I've got a pair of the 10-watt projectors that I got from Ben. They're (almost) okay but still a bit dim. I'm just wondering if this 20-watter wouldn't be usable in a pinch as there are times I'm fully committed on data projectors. I'm thinking this would also make a very good cake pinspot, provided the beam can be adjusted.
