Anyone know if Steve is still in business with his Atlanta Photobooth company? We've called the business line (found on the website) have left several voicemails and have never got a response. I thought only carpenters and plumbers never returned calls.

He was in Vegas selling his stuff, but he's really pushing uplighting, so I'm not sure how much selling on his photobooths he's doing.

Then maybe he should take down the site for the photobooths, if he's not interested in selling them? Eh? ;)

I've fired off a PM on Facebook. Hopefully he'll at least respond and let us know if he's still providing the booths. We'll see.

Update! Coreen did talk to Steve today, but she forgot to tell me.. :D Steve is very much "still" selling the photobooths and was very informative, helpful, without trying to sell us something we didn't need. Coreen was very impressed with his presentation and we should be placing an order here early next week.

Steve's a good guy - and those Photobooths take time to build. You can't expect him to drop everything when the phone rings. He's got orders to fill, things to build and events of his own each weekend. Even when you see him on Facebook, it's usually his wife Theresa who's doing the typing.

Nonetheless, he builds a great product, one that's worth waiting for. Just don't expect to order a booth today and have it in your hands by the weekend. That's not going to happen.

Ahem, I did not say that he was not a good guy. And yes, I know that that they take up to 2 weeks to build and to allow time for delivery. I do expect a "business" to return calls, period. I simply sent him a PM on FB and even followed up with an apology to him as my wife got sidetracked and did not tell me that they had already spoken. Loosen up your shorts Brendan, you're starting to act like Mr. Chiverton. ;)

SMH! For Pete's sake! The man was just giving you heads up. How is he acting like anybody? Y'all are much too sensitive!

Yeah, I really wasn't trying to be a d*ck. I just know that Steve is busy and it will take longer than 2 weeks to build a photobooth if they're 4 weeks deep in orders. :)

I agree with you Kirby, a return phone call or email (heck, even an auto-reply) is not an unreasonable request. Everyone is busy, yes, but too busy to make a sale often equates to too busy to handle customer support after the sale as well and would also make me skeptical. Reading through the thread, I actually thought Kirby tried harder than most/many to contact Steve...even going to the point of asking around. Wish I had more customers like that.

Didn't think or say your were being a dick. My opinion is you didn't take the time to really read the thread and just shot off a response and thus I replied in my offhand way, "with" a smiley. :D We were quoted an approximate time frame of 2 weeks, from order to being ready to ship, if anything has changed, I'm sure Steve will definitely make us aware.

Again, my wife and Steve talked yesterday and she was extremely pleased with his answers, once they finally made the "connection." We had a hectic day, I was in St. Louis taking a buddy to the VA hospital, she was at work and "we" never had a time allotted to go completely over the day, until late in the evening.

Yeah, exactly. I was worried that either the phone number on the site was bogus and going to an old voicemail account or that he might have even closed down that aspect of the business. I was curious and wanted to find out what was going on. Keith Johnson "highly recommended" Steve's photobooths and service and we wanted to give him first crack at making the sale to us.

I met Steve a couple of years ago in Vegas and found him to be a very nice dude.

Sometimes, wires get crossed and things happen but in the end all things have appeared to work themselves out! :)
