For the Yorkville Fans .. 50th Anniversary

Yorkville has come leaps and bounds in the last 10 years I remember several years back renting Yorkie gear and always having a problem everytime. I had a set of Elites I chased the fuses on all night one time lol. It got to the point that when I needed a rental it was anything but Yorkville.
Then one time I went to rent an amp and all that was left was Yorkville so I didn't have a choice. I had some luck with it and it sounded pretty good so I looked deeper. I now own Yorkville powered speakers, Powered Subs, and an ART EQ whick is made by Yorkville
Word I hear is they are seriously looking in to the lighting end of things too they have a few out now and plan on making a run with ADJ and Chauvet

My only experience is the Yorkville Unity tops (U15B) and subs (UCS1B) I have .. plus the specialty crossover unit. They are fantastic sounding speakers, though a better fit for the live sound work I did more of. Alas, they will be sold this summer and my guess is a QSC KW setup will take their place.
I live in Toronto so I had access to Yorkville/Traynor all my life. Our killer stack was 8 Cerwin Vega JE36 bass bins (4 per side) and 4 Elite 1000's for tops. This combo would make some people queasy when cretin bass notes were played. One of my favorite old amps were the 300 watt Traynor square amp.
