I love music so much that I...

...stay for the end of the movie credits and write down a song that I want to buy that I heard during the movie...as in "42".

I do the same thing for stuff I hear on satellite radio, Idol, and SYTYCD...

How 'bout you? What strange stuff do you do for your love of music?

Other than Jimmy Buffet, I think music sucks.

It's burnout for me -- try listening to the same songs 12-16 hours a day, so you can build software, and do comparisons in your code! Do that for about 15 years, seven days a week -- you'll never really want to listen to music again.

I do listen to my iPOS at night when I sleep in shuffle mode -- no speakers or earbuds. I use it to learn the lyrics, they stick in your head when yer sleeping.

It's just a job for me anymore.
 
I research music I hear in commercials. Examples include:

'You Don't Own Me' by April Smith & The Great Picture Show - NFL Commercial
'Opportunity' by Julia Lee - NFL Commercial
'Lightning Bolt' by Jake Bugg - Gatoraid Commercial

I keep Shazam on the one page of my iPhone so I can have it identify and save any song I hear that either I don't know or want to include in an upcoming event. Works on Almost any catalogued tune .. except a few acoustic versions I've found.

Speaking of songs...need a bit of help finding the Monday Night Football broadcast theme. Got a wedding in a month and need this for the B&G Intro. They're big Monday Night Football fans. Is it an ESPN production? BTW, I, too, check the credits for songs on TV movies, too.
