Don't really listen to much music anymore, since I started writing DJ software.

I don't listen in the car -- too busy driving with the whackos up here.

I guess the analogy would be something like a gynecologist wanting to examine his wife when he comes home from work. Sometimes I'll turn on the Zune or iPod Touch when I'm sleeping. Or if I go to a bar, I like to watch the band.

I hear it at all my functions

so I want a good movie or a tvshow and that does me

lol that's fair enough, [MENTION=57]DjDennis[/MENTION] ,ok remix the question, if you could star in any tv show ,who would you be, and in what, and why?
as all i do from morning to night is eat sleep and drink music ,i dont suffer the feeling of ever wanting to get away from it, its what i do, its what i love, i like a good episode of criminal minds or walking dead as well as the next man, but only as they have awesome soundtracks.. lol
maybe its the 'functions' that are grinding you down , i prefer destination's and amazing set's at world re-nowned employs
and i may be wrong but since your first post ...you seem like some one who need's a hug ..
i may be wrong :rolleyes: ... oh and the other things to worry about .. we all have them, i do what i do,to provide the best life possible for my wife, daughter and son. so working to the best of my abilty allows that, relax and fall in love with the music again... music is what bleeds from dj's heart's to feed vampiric crowds hungry for escape to a sonic reality. ..

lol not ego , love for what i do and just because you are older, does not make any difference to me i may only be 35 in april, but in my "short" few years, i have worked my ass off ,i didnt want to be another bedroom dj ,or do partys and weddings (no offence_) ,i got signed to my label i released my music, i created my night and now travel with it , ego suggests i do it cos i think i am awesome, i do it becaus i love nothing more than watching a crowd react to a set i play , seeing the joy it brings and the happiness and love it brings to the people on the floor, dancing and enjoying. they dont love me they love the music i play and the style and way i play and mix and perform live ,and thats taken dedication and hard work, and the fact my daughter wants to follow in my footsteps i think is amazing and she's ok for 9 yrs old :p(bless) you may see it as ego ...but im afraid your bit off the mark, i got my first set of spitfire mk2's in a wooden coffin box with mixer when i was 7 and ive been mixing every day since, worked also so thats 23 years of music and i have no intention of stopping any time soon, i have my brother to keep up with he's 47 and still going strong at it :) .. he's "well known" shall we say..if anyone has ego or is a deck diva its him... ;)

as I said come back in 35 years after you get burn out and all the bad things happen in this weird job

These past few days it would have had to be the sound effects they played for Jacob Marley in Scrooge! I was so under the weather .. woke up to a 103 temp on Friday and it took till yesterday to shake the bug. Still weak .. feels like I'm dragging chains around.

I partied with those dudes on their bus down in FL. Wild and crazy bunch, but friendly, and had great weed :)

Got all their autographs on a flyer for a strip club.
