This is NOT a thread of which is better than the other, nor is it a Thread of if someone requested. I just want to know how many have used or are using BOTH versions. "Let's Stay Together"

We've got both. I think both versions are awesome.

Well I said "IF someone requested the Seal version" So that would lead mo to believe that I would play the Seal version IF someone requested it.

I am sorry that you do not comprehend the question. I did not ask "if", I asked Have you ever played it either requested or not? Having it does not mean you ever played it. Having it does not mean it has ever been requested.

I'm sorry that you do not comprehend that I was mocking your qualifying restrictions for posting a response in the thread you started.:-/
 
I even play the Tina Turner version.

Hmmmm, Seal releases "Let's stay together" then Seal loses Heidi. Or was it the other way around ?


Anyhoo, I like Seal but this is one of those songs better left alone and not remade.

Have both. Played both. Played Seal's version during Cocktail hour, but reserve the Al Green for dance play.

Nice LipSyncing! Sounds good though. I don't have that one.
 
If he is lip-syncing, it's to his own vocal. I own all of his albums. Here's a video I took of him in concert. This man can sing soul music as good as anyone on earth (imo). This song gives me chills it's so good. It gets stronger and stronger as it goes along.
