Tour X VS K12

I know someone on here has the tour x TX1152. I would like to know if they have ever compared them to QSC K12? I use my K12's for small parties, but would like more bass without adding a sub. Also if you have the TX1152's, do you have covers for them? and are the covers good quality(thick-padded). Oh I know that I am asking to compare powered vs non powered, but I would like to buy non powered this time.

Aren't they sort of night and day - one's passive, the other active. If you want more bass in a similar active box, look at the QSC KW152.

I have the TX1152 and the TX1122's.....the TX1152's sound great by themselves and would easily accommodate a small to medium size party without a sub.

It can be any brand. I am open to any other brand as long as the price does not go up too high. I good with anything that comes close to the Tour X price range.

I really don't want anymore powered boxes right now. And I already have the extra power amps.

It has a bit of weight but I have heard these and it has great bass (due to the double 15"s) but unlike other double 15"s it is in a compact box. And you would save about 150 to 200 dollars per box over the EV's

I have a pair of K10s and a pair of KW153s...used the KW153s with no sub for some mid sized gigs in and outdoors with great success.
