Hopefully they sound sweet .. might be interested in a small 10" pair. I like the lower key logo (rather than the older big blue one), but I don't care for the grill design. The Elite/Unity grills are nicer looking IMO:

It looks like a square box (plastic) vs wood. I like the 1400 watts aspect. Hmmm...2 of those would go nicely with my Elite LS801PB 18" Sub.

Canute...most likely trade up or trade-in for Yorkville. However, I'm may consider a Dynacord system if I am able to hear it in operation. I'm talking about the Dynacord 2000. Only drawback aside from the $$$$ is that the tops to that system are passive. I presently us RCF ART Series 12" active for ceremony.

Art bring the RCF for backup tops then your safe. MY http://www.dynacord.com/en/products/7/1/6/34_vl262.html are passive and work well with my Powered http://www.dynacord.com/en/products/7/1/1/7_powersub315.html sub and I also have a passive slavwe sub for additional oomph but this compact system can do most any type event event schools and West Indian Gigs ask Trini Dave. It covers most anything unless I want to bring in big gun JBL double 15s and double 18's. Feel free to phone me anytime for further details.

The 2000 system would likely cover you off for mosdt anything up to 250 or a bit more ask Keith HIred Power as he has that exact system told me my recommendation was one of the best he has had for gear of anything over the yrs. I got my inside info via Ben from NLFX he could probably steer you further.

As I mentioned in my private email to you, before I opted for the Yorkville system, the Dynacord DL-2000 was my first choice. Quality first and foremost in my book. I haven't totally given up on the Dynacord. I've always been confused as to how the 2000 distributed the 2000 watts when the two tops and Passive sub were attached. Does the Powered sub keep 1000 watts for itself and the Passive sub and the other 1000 watts for the Tops?
And, when a Top is mounted above the Passive Sub, does the Top get its power from the Passive Sub, i.e. power passes through to the Passive sub and the inturn supplies the Passive Top?
Just curious.
And, do you use the 2000 System outside on the ground without some kind of platform for the sub? Seems like transport across rough terrain would be by lifting the sub on to a cart and pushing it to the desired location? When operating the Sub is it resting on the floor on wheels or on the bottom side? Pole mount somewhere?

I don't think they are available retail yet. I just checked the Long and McQuade site (L&M is owned by Yorkville or visey versa) and they aren't on there yet

Thanks, Jeff.

I'd be interested to hear that system (Tops and my LS801 18"), moreover, the cost of said speakers. LOL!

Did you know that in 2005 I moved from Bangor/Brewer Maine area to North Carolina? During the 20 years we lived in Maine, we made several trips to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Lovely area. And, I was impressed with some of the wine that was grown in that area (along the coast just before crossing over to PEI. Small world...isn't it. Just thought you'd like to know that some people in the USA have been to Canada (Eastern provinces).
