As a young man in the 80's
I thank you for that!

p.s.
Freddy...was the average BPM on that?
Did you have to pitch any of those songs much? (didn't sound that way)

Wow 74 views and finally a reply with someone who liked it. ;-)

Mike I created this mix using Ableton Live. I adjusted the pitch using Automation from 113 to 118 from the middle of Apache towards the end, just before Ice Ice baby comes in since Vanilla Ice is about 118 BPM. I am glad it brought back memories.

BTW I had to Warp all songs except It Takes two because all of the songs were off due to a human drummer or because it got ripped from my original 12" Vinyl. This mix took me about 4-5 hours due to Warping all the tracks.

Geez, now that I know you didn't mix it LIVE...
I've lost all respect for you.
:-/
Just kidding. I'm a studio guy myself.
Recently spent an hour making an LMFAO mega mix of their 3 big hits.
(but I didnt have to mess with the pitch or the BPM...they're all pretty much the same)

LOL.......I use Ableton Live cause I love to create mashups but that does not mean I can't mix. LOL......I have posted many mixes here which I have done live and also some of the members here have seen my online shows when I was doing them live. So just because someone loves to use these types of software's does not mean they don't know how to mix it if needed. I think that many who do these types of mashups most if not all can throw down on the 1's & 2's. ;-)

Completely understand.
I admire your talent because I am MUCH better at studio mixing than live mixing.
In fact, I love your mixes.
