Hello eZ Welcome to the board. I like your controller (I use the same). As for that amp avoid it. If you are looking for an good but inexpensive amp look int the GX line from QSC or the Behringer Europower line.

These are entry level amps but are built to last and have great performance.

Thanks man, I will keep looking, I am just low of funds right now and needed something to get me out of a jam, how do you like your 4-Mx Hercules Controller?
I have owned 4 in the past, my first was a DJ iCue (need i say more) the second one was the hercules Mk4 (love it) the 3rd was a Numark Mixdeck and the
current is the 4-Mx, and love it, I have added some custom midi codes to the VDJ (7 Pro), so when in a loop, the jog wheels (blue light) will blink on/off until
your out of the loop lol it cool.

but tnx again

I've never heard of the "GMI Pro" brand before. With that said, it's probably a step below Pyle Pro. If none of my pro audio dealer friends carry it, it's not worth buying.

hi How about a Pyle Pro PTA1400 1400 Watt Professional Power Amplifier?
I am trying to keep my budget low but mid range in pro equipment...
I would gladly take advice for all on Amps.

looking at around 80~130 bux, would prefer free shipping
** my must have specs are: **

Bridgable amp stereo to mono , jacks for speaker outputs, RCA for audio input
4 or 8 ohm IMP. (must be capeable of both)
Short Circuit Protection, Clip monitoring/led
Gains controls on front with some type on VU
dual Colling fans, Slow power on
19 inch Rack mountable

with that said, let me know your thoughts
tnx.

Run away from Pyle Pro, as Zinc mentioned there are better options for a little bit more $$$.

Are you sure you have what it takes to be a DJ? You are trying to enter a Horse Race with a stubborn mule! Just saying. Just do things correctly or not do them at all! That is my advise for you.

Glad you didn't go the other route but that GX3 is, my opinion, under-powered. I have a GX5 in one of my smaller rigs and it's been a respectable amp. Best of luck with it.

The GX3 is a good basic amp. Downside is you can't bridge it, so it may be a good choice for your tops.
