Worked with them before -- not music wise, we handled security when they played the Everglades Food Festival.

Very nice folks, and I got a nice t-shirt from their tour manager. The big dude is friendly as heck, can't recall his name off the top of my head. Here's a pic from that security gig -- me with Kim Brewer, one of the lead off acts...

We had Bobby Bare down there too -- talk about an asshat! That dude had more ego than Kanye, and was drunker than all the people at the festival.

Interesting story:

I was working for Wells Fargo Security -- I was the night security head at the time in S. FL, and the only one with an armed license. So they asked me to go in, bring a few regular guards along for the festival, and then watch the Sheriff's deputies who were counting the money.

The sheriff shows up at one point, and tries to go into the building. He didn't have a uniform on, and no badge in sight -- so I stopped him (I didn't know him from Adam). He gave me a hard time, so I called the deputies out to back me up.

There were all sorts of guns drawn at that point -- but they confirmed he was in fact the sheriff. He agreed to showing me his ID, and the situation ended amicably.

It was a fun event
